Henry Magaziner

Project Responsibilities
Mr. Magaziner serves as senior historian. He aids in historic architectural research, prepares possible development scenarios and organizes Historic Preservation Certification Applications.

Mr. Magaziner has served as a principal for Public, Institutional, Commercial, and Historical Work; City Planning (client contact, design, contract documents, contract negotiation and monitoring); and Public hearings on plans.

Mr. Magaziner, as a Regional Historical Architect and Architectural Historian, with the National Park Service, performed duties such as: compliance design, contract documents, contract negotiation and monitoring, supervision of consulting architects, and national historical landmark studies. Additional experiences include: recipient of Presidential Award, Excellence in Design for the Government; co-author of U.S. Public Buildings Cooperative Use Act of 1976; and Initiator of Historic Buildings’ Preservation clauses in the standard building codes.

Mr. Magaziner is well renowned in the field of Historical Preservation. He is noted for his practical approach, and has crafted many ingenious solutions to meeting requirements within the strict budgets to which many of Campbell Thomas' clients are subject.
