Project Responsibilities

Ms. Alencastro serves as a Project Designer and Planner. Her responsibilities include project management and coordination, mapping and cost analysis, field survey, alignment design and planning recommendations, marketing, outreach and public involvement, authoring of reports, graphic design and publishing activities.

Related Experience

Since joining Campbell Thomas & Co. Ms. Alencastro has worked on various design, rehabilitation and planning projects including The Cresheim Trail Feasability Study between Valley Green and Fort Washington State Park, The John Heinz Wildlife Refuge Access Study from Eastwick to Fort Mifflin, Analysis of the East Coast Greenway Alternative Alignments Study south from Bartrams Gardens to Ft. Mifflin, and planning for the South of South Walk-ability Study, among others.

Various projects have taken Ms. Alencastro between her native country of Ecuador, her adopted one of the United States, and Europe.  Planning and design projects she has worked on in the public sector, non-profit organizations, private foundations and firms include Athlete's Housing for the Barcelona Olympics, Spain; Parque Metropolitano and Parque Itchimbia in the Municipality of Quito, Ecuador; Universidad San Francisco de Quito Master Plan, Quito, Ecuador.
